Keren Lynn Photography | My Story

Do you know what makes you happy? It is my goal to respect and inspire each person to be true; to find the courage to stand up for who they are without fear and to learn what being happy means. Each of us can make a difference with compassion, kindness and love, and my intention is to do just that.

Hi, I'm Keren Lynn. I'm a free spirit, a wanderer, creative, quirky, passionate, independent. I love exploring outdoors, photographing, colors, sunsets, family, learning and sharing experiences. I believe in authenticity, kindness, happiness, gratitude, compassion, respect and integrity…this is what defines me, and I choose to be me everyday! I recently chose to live in my Sprinter van to travel the country and have everyday life experiences, share my skills and spread kindness. I find authentic people and hear their stories in order to inspire and help others to be happy, find courage, make choices, break stigmas and fears, and to learn about the passionate life of people in America. I believe in the ripple effect and if we can share, exchange and trade with others, and start to live by the Golden Rule - treat others how you would like to be treated - I truly believe there will be happier, kinder people in the world.

I have combined my love of travel, culture and community with my speciality of phototherapy which I created to help children and adults who have faced challenges begin to accept who they are through photography. This has allowed me to build a foundation of trust when working with people in many countries through respect, patience, and understanding, despite language barriers, as if empathy and kindness have made me a linguist!

Authenticity is extremely important to me.  Having the freedom to make choices without the pressure of others influencing your decisions is a gift not know by all. There is a sensitivity required in understanding and representing people throughout the world. An image is a powerful reflection of what you think and feel. My camera is my creative tool to help connect people with those emotions, to visually present what many would otherwise have no way of experiencing. I believe my travel photography allows people to learn and grow, to open their minds, and to reduce judgement which ultimately will make our world a better place.
